Our Story
Looocraft was born between two worlds — the quiet forests and raw craftsmanship of Eastern Europe, and the misty coastal mountains of British Columbia.
Rooted in Baltic and Belarusian traditions, our work carries the memory of old workshops, hand tools, heavy timber, and objects made slowly to last for generations. We believe furniture should feel alive — imperfect, tactile, and deeply connected to nature.
Inspired by the philosophy of wabi-sabi, we embrace the beauty of age, asymmetry, texture, and time. Cracks, grain movement, tool marks, weathering, and natural variation are not flaws to hide, but part of the soul of the piece.
Each object is handcrafted in small batches or created as a one-of-one work. We work primarily with solid wood, reclaimed timber, and natural materials chosen for their character and honesty. Every board carries history. Every surface changes gently with light, use, and seasons.
The forests, rain, stone, and driftwood landscapes of the BC coast shape the atmosphere behind Looocraft — calm spaces, quiet mornings, mountain cabins, slow coffee, and homes built around warmth and presence rather than excess.
We are not interested in mass production or disposable design.
We create enduring pieces meant to age beautifully, gather memories, and bring stillness into everyday life.
